DFID Africa Human Development Retreat
Christopher Colclough has attended the DFID Africa Human Development Retreat, in Addis Ababa, 4-8 February 2008. The meeting brought together all the DFID education and health advisers from the Africa region, to discuss development problems and policy priorities. He gave presentations on education and growth and on approaches to monitoring and measuring education quality. He also chaired a session on gender, education and development. The meeting provided an opportunity to familiarise DFID advisers with RECOUP research.
