Progress on the Disability, Education & Poverty Study in India
4 May 2008. The team of researchers has successfully completed the data collection, which was a very interesting, albeit challenging experience. In the first week of April, a qualitative data analysis workshop was organised which provided opportunities for not only discussing issues around rigorous analysis of such data, but also enabled researchers to develop a coding frame for the Disability project. This coding frame was then piloted on some of the interviews and has now been finalised. Currently, the team is completing the transcription work and will then move on to analysis of the entire data set.
