Research skills workshop completed in Ghana
The third qualitative research training workshop was held in Ghana between 8-16 May 2007. The training was attended by RECOUP staff from Cambridge and Edinburgh and researchers of the Associates for Change (AFC) - RECOUP partner in Ghana.
During the first seven days of the workshop both 'fundamental' and 'applied issues' pertaining to 'good' qualitative research were encompassed. The last two days of the workshop built on these shared research understandings and were devoted to discussing in detail each of the Theme 1 sub-projects: on Youth, Gender and Citizenship; on Disability and Poverty; and on Health and Fertility.
The workshop report is now available on our Intranet/Camtools.
