RECOUP Steering Committee Meeting
The Steering Committee met for its second annual meeting in Cambridge on 12 February 2007. At the meeting, attended by the principal investigators in Ghana, Kenya, India, the members of the group discussed the progress made in terms of achieving RECOUP objectives and implementing planned activities. The completion of the household surveys in Ghana and Pakistan, of the qualitative research in Ghana and India as well as the production of thematic literature reviews by all partners were the key achievements of the Consortium. The data generated from the surveys are currently being analysed by the RECOUP researchers based at the Unviersity of Oxford.
Research workshops held in Cambridge
The Steering Committee meeting was followed by a series of workshops held on each thematic area. These workshops serve as a forum for all partners to report on progress, share the experiences and discuss and exchange opinion on conceptual and methodological issues which emerge during the research. The workshop brought together the RECOUP management, principal investigators, theme coordinators and international and national project leaders and researchers involved in sub-projects. RECOUP linked PhD students also joined the meetings. The presentations and papers distributed at the research meetings are available for downloading in our Intranet
